over the hills and far awayso, most everything is done, except blocking out that little sliver of blogger banner between this and the navbar, which lauren so kindly pointed out.
i went to see harry potter yesterday with anna and jenn (the later i haven't seen all summer, crazy, isn't it). it was good, except for the ending. which sucked. and the guy who played dumbledor. who sucked. but the scores were great, i think i shall buy the soundtrack. it reminds me a lot of ffcc. which reminds me. i still don't have my character back... *tear*
i've been reading some other people's blog/xanga/ljs, and i've notticed that mine are sufficiently lacking in content. that and i'm the only one so far who has a huge eye banner. which harry seems to think is scary. so i have decided to keep it for a while, and katherine agrees.
lets see. *tries in vain to think of something interesting*
drivers ed... nobody wants to hear about that.
health... is almost done!
family... is leaving this afternoon for new orleans, as my grandfather has been in the hospital. my dad and i are staying, he because of work, and i because of drivers ed.
spoons... michael and i agree that they should make spoons with sharp edges, so that eyes don't pop when you try to get them out (like they would with a regular spoon), and that they wouldn't leave little holes like sporks would.
red robins... they can't split the price of two milkshakes three ways. we tried. he laughed at me for asking.
old men... shouldn't go see movies. why pay eight bucks to fall asleep?
milkshakes... can actually come out of a person's nose. so can chocolate, by the way.
houston... i hate smog. smog=bad/nasty/gross=the need to move somewhere else. like france.
california... stole all the french tourists. and hot guys in cars. and waves (even though it was depressingly flat when we went). and superior small towns.
kite surfing... is somethign i really really want to try. it's like surfing. only actually more like snowboarding. while attached to a small parachute.
chocolate... something else california has kicked our butts with.
blur... whoo hoo!
that's just crazyŸ (my new punctuation mark for going after hahahas or other such exclamations that aren't really exclamations or plain old boring sentences)
now i'm rambling. again.
oh well.
that was weird. nick just went ERAGHAAAAAWAAAA really loud. downstairs.
it's not even 11 yet. in the morning. so scary... nobody's here. but me.
i'm all alone.
except not.
because, of course, you're reading this right now.
and if you're not, well. that doesn't make much sense now does it.
all in all, the lesson of today is that for some bizzare reason people have the hardest time reading my name. i think i should start a course to properly educate people of how to say people's names correctly. though, i would probably end up melting or worse because the only kind of people who would take the course are the people i ha-er.. strongly... dislike...
strongly..
oh, and a few notes about the revampedness:
* yes, that is my eye. and yes, as jenn pointed out, it is pixely. it's supposed to be like that. i wanted it more pixelated, but i was too lazy to do it again.
* it's best viewed in 1024x768 mode
* the links have not yet been updated, but they will be sometime soon (maybe)
* the song, if you're wondering, is one thing by finger eleven (or was, if i've already changed it). but i might change it soon.
* um... thats it pretty much. like you really care about any of this anyway. it just makes me feel important, ok?! hahaha...
well, i will leave you now to indulge yourself in other things, as reading too much of this at one time might do harm to the brainular region of the mind.
for 10 long years he'll count the days
