that was a different thing

first truly official day of fantastic summer.

i haven't quite figured out if the fantastic is sarcastic or not, but it does seem like sleeping late and not having to deal with idiots as much is a good thing.

the whole pushing back of my curfew apparently doesn't go into effect until after saturday (which is my recital, just fyi. at seven. at northbrook.). not like i'm functional at all after eleven. well, not like i'm functional at all ever, but whatev..

today was actually pretty a lot of fun. i'd like to thank kevin, rin, david, and becca. and sculpy; without sculpy, i could never have made such cute nautical sea creatures with tentacles (you know, because there are those un-nautical sea creatures...).

somebody also needs to have another gathering of some sort. and it probably should be anna *nudge nudge wink wink*.

also, the beach party was pretty freakin' funtastic. thanks to you all for coming (and if you didn't, your loss? or something?), especially alex. my favorite alexander, you make a mighty fine horse. that, and your car is nice to look at because it is always clean and shiny.

i'm full of insight.

and on a totally random note, i seem to have a bizarre tendency to turn stuff upside down.

you know it's the time

summer? YES OMG WTF.

yeah, so even though it hasn't really been more than 24 hours, it rocks. mostly thanks to alex and jill, who pwn. and also dee, who i dragged everywhere today. and amman, who drove after my car died. and the guys who put a new battery in my car.

and i finally got a new ipod. raise it.

and i got some other stuff, too. cheers to that as well.

and now i have to go to a swanky party, and then another sunday.. *nudge nudge wink wink*

and you should totally rsvp or else i will kill you.

but not really.

i did not need a frapp. or a cupcake.

or any sugar.

too late.

uhh yeah... i have no plans (excluding the ones... i already have...) so just call whenever and we can do something fancy and awesome.

hold on tight

slight case of insomnia right now, so why not update?

it's about 5 in the morning. i finally got to sleep at about three. yay.

fine arts was pretty awesome, they played some good stuff, some not so good stuff, but not nearly as bad as homecoming. also, the cheesecake was delish.

amman drove us (thanks, boy). it was actually kind of scary. i really thought i was going to die. 11 people + an eight-seater excursion + 70 down memorial = impending doom.

yet, here i am.

we didn't start the fire

well friday was pretty awesome, school and otherwise. excluding the fact that i busted my side mirror on my car and scratched the tire thingie. c'est la vie, i suppose. kutchin was at school, but it really wasn't that bad. next year, what if we actually miss him..? nah...

and happy key day to a certain young man, who we nearly scared the pants off yesterday. from this day forward, may 12th is officially key day. sorry, your birthday will no longer be celebrated in august.

cans are awesome to explode.

and ross/andy were right, i did burn my foot.

i finished my french poem! joy joy joy.

but i am posting now. in spite of aps, i am still extraordinarily happy. why? who knows. i'm not going to question it. and also, after this weekend, i really only have to worry about dance stuff getting done (i'm almost done with my solo, which is good. i need practice though...)
