i can't waitlongest week of my life. well, of the summer. but i think it was well worth it. being dorky and excelling in humiliating myself (in more ways than i feel like detailing right now), now i'm really excited about this year. yearbook-wise, anyway. and you all should be too. i know i tell yall this every year, and i know i told you all this last year too (especially), but i'm serious when i say that this year's will make last year's look like... like.. i don't know, i'm too drained/tired to think of some fancy metaphor. but it will be good. bwaha.
otherwise speaking, there is *way* too much stuff i need to do before school. and what do i continue to do? sit on my ass infront of the computer. although today i hung out with matt some (after i got home, which seems like yesterday), and even if he was really mean a lot it was pretty awesome. and i recommend seeing monster house.
ever want to just say something but you're too scared?
to be with you

this is how it works, it feels a little worseback from the carolinas. loved duke and unc, and the robertson scholarship is the most amazing thing ever. e v e r. although, 36 recipients each year? doubtful for arden. no harm in trying though, right?
i loved loved loved seeing my aunt and uncle. they are so awesome. and wonderful chefs. we went to my uncle's parents lake house and ski-doo'd and ski'd and loafed and boated and all in all had a fabulous time.
and now for the ponderation of the day; my uncle told me at least thrice that i was so pretty. if i am so pretty, then is there just something wrong with all the boys?
nah, i'm just weird. enough of that.
anyway, it'll be nice to sleep in my own bed. for three nights? i leave again monday for yearbook camp pt 2! cool, right? i think so.
and sidenote on crime and punishment: i thought it was really interesting at first, the whole psychological reprecussions thing has always struck my fancy. but come on... four hundred pages worth of it? so i'm reading another david sedaris book instead, i highly recommend any of them. fairly quick reads, entertaining to boot.

it's a bittersweet symphonyquick update! back from so cal as of two days ago, loved it.
hit a stop sign, but i am ok and my car's not too bad. it wasn't wholly stupid, it was in a parking lot.
for some reason that only seemed to have deterred my mood yesterday. let's see what almost a week with my family does to that mood...
i'll be back from north/south carolina friday, but then like the 24th or something i have yearbook camp for a few days. it doesn't stop. ever. gah.
er... yeah. sidenote, as surprisingly as it may sound?
i just don't care any more. and it's wonderful.
