it doesn't matter

"May you find your purpose in life.

What has traditionally been known as the Star card is about reconnecting one's Soul with the Divine -- the transcending of personality, family, community and reputation. It has to do ultimately with the freedom to be one's Self. The Soul is responding to celestial influences -- forces that can provide the personality with a stronger sense of purpose. The Star card helps us to remember our exalted origins and our attraction to a Higher Union.

This card could also be called the "Celestial Mandate" -- that which refers us back to our reason for being, our mission in this lifetime. The Star reminds us that, in a sense, we are agents of Divine Will in our day-to-day lives. If we let go of the idea that we are supposed to be in control, we can more easily notice and appreciate the synchronicities that are nudging us along. In this way, we become more conscious of the invisible Helping Hand, and we better understand our place within -- and value to -- the larger Cosmos."

stands alone

so... homecoming... yeah.

at least we all looked nice.

and before/after was a blast.

my toe got stepped on (à my younger brother being pushed into me by friends...), there were way too many people, the music was better than last year but the bass was so high it was hard to distinguish the actual song sometimes, people grinded slowly to techno (i mean really...). not many boys to dance with.

my dress was pretty though (i thought), and dancing with becca and jeff and chrissy was fun, and seeing some people was reason for good times being had.

but overall?

i can't wait until FAB.

an illusion

yeah yeah, as he said, i've been hectic. wrapping of the school is tomorrow (we are completely insane, if we haven't already proved that many times over). considering how weird things have been lately, i'm still pretty happy with it all. which is good.

and i don't update this nearly as much as i used to because (1) not many people read this any more and (2) i don't really know what to write about.

so... i hope hollis and weikei get queen and king, because that'd basically be really awesome.

and i have a perty sweet dress. it's kind of different from what i usually wear, but i guess that is one of the reasons i like it. it's also kind of low-cut in the front... made of "diaphenous silk". how fancy am i?

is just not true
