i like chinese

first off, i just wanted to say that on my computer, the banner isn't working. and i'd have to assume it's not showing up properly on your computer, either. stupid free image hosting... *shakes fist*

next off. the ray business is over, ray has been uncovered. i would reveal that secret to you all, but i think i will make him feel bad a little while longer. and he thinks i don't hold grudges...

well. it is now a bonafied fact, i really suck at magic. but apparently i drafted a pretty good deck (i call that good luck. they had pretty pictures...). and i won! a few times. out of more than a few times. it took me a long time to sort of understand what was going on, and then jon and kevin ended up doing most of it for me anyway. but it was fun. {edit} i forgot to mention that matt did help me draft some of my cards. and jon taught me some magic slang. like swing and mise. and that i think i should make a pirate card, which will read "steal all of your opponents shinies. and then slit all of their creatures' throats. and then you win."{/edit}

becca is back from france, finally! and now... almost everybody is back for good. except silly people like jenn who have camp. this means that my life will pick back up where it left off before summer started, and that you will probably see fewer and fewer posts.

which brings me to announce that i have had more than 1000 hits! how much you wanna bet at least 75 of those hits are me, checking to see if everything is working right. but still, that's pretty good, don't you think? of course you do. everybody knows how interesting my life is, don't they? or... uninteresting, mostly.

AHHH!!! i almost forgot! but i didn't!! my baby came (see post below)!!! it is so beautiful. *drools* and it is in tune! i am so happy.

{edit2} oh. i almost forgot. i want you all to see something very pathetic, because you deserve to know the truth: the following is a part of a chain of comments from a few days ago.
